New program from Postcards to Swing States
e can hold the Senate and even expand OUR DEMOCRATIC majority by communicating directly with voters. The tens of thousands of volunteers helping us write over SEVEN million postcards to voters ACROSS SEVEN key states are doing their part. We’re excited to invite returning volunteers and new folks to learn more about how postcards will help us win the midterms!
Join us on Thursday, June 23 at 8pm ET (via Zoom) to hear all about our data-driven and innovative Postcards to Swing States programs:
- How do we know postcards are effective?
- What are the most effective messages?
- How does postcard writing complement other forms of voter outreach?
We’ll also share a special message from Cheri Beasley, the Democratic Senate nominee in North Carolina and former Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court.

New from Vote Forward
In case you missed the news last week, Vote Forward volunteers like you have “adopted” more than 1 million voters who will receive ‘please vote’ letters ahead of the midterms this fall!
This is incredible progress, but in order to reach our 10 million letter goal, we need your help. Will you host a virtual or in-person Vote Forward letter writing party? Letter writing parties are an easy way to bring your friends and family together to build community and strengthen our democracy by writing a lot of letters encouraging more folks to participate in the electoral process.
Hosting a letter writing party is easy and fun, and we’ll provide you with everything you need to be a successful host! Check out this written guide with instructions on how to host, and then set up your event on Mobilize using this template to share with your network and collect RSVPs. You can also join our letter writing party host training on June 22 for more helpful tips on hosting events. Environmental Voter Project
Our next post carding campaign will be to Colorado voters ahead of their June 28th state primary!
We’ll be sending postcards to environmental voters who voted in the 2020 General Election, but are unlikely to vote in midterm elections based on their previous voting history. We expect to begin mailing out packages of postcards to signed-up volunteers beginning in late March, and the required “mail-to-voters” date for this round of postcards is on Monday, June 6th.
This sign up form is only for trained EVP postcarding volunteers. New postcarding volunteers should sign up for an orientation below.
If you have not already attended an EVP postcard training, please sign up for one of the 45 minute trainings below. We use very specific designs and messaging that are optimized to increase turnout, so we require all our postcarding volunteers to receive an EVP training before sending postcards.

I am administering a postcarding network in Humboldt County (presently over 300 writers) and we supply postcards and stamps to writers, which are available for cost at several convenient pickup locations. Have anyone interested in joining us contact me. We mostly postcard for ROV (Reclaim Our Vote), which is non-partisan, but have also postcarded for Activate America (which used to be called Flip the West), which is partisan.
