On this 4th of July, let us celebrate the the many solutions-focused strategies we have at our finger tips for adapting to the climate crisis. One of these is the excellent work of Laura Allen.

She is the lead author of the San Francisco Graywater Design Guidelines for Outdoor Irrigation, and authored The Water-Wise Home: How to Conserve and Reuse Water in Your Home and Landscape (Storey Press, 2015). Laura presented on the topic of Water Wise Homes (June 20, 2019) as part of the 350 Eugene co-sponsored solutions series held at the Eugene Public Library.
