DAY ONE – Mon., Oct. 29 – Our Children’s Trust Trial – U.S. Federal Courthouse, 405 E. 8th Ave., Eugene – 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

We’re never backing down!

Come early to welcome the plaintiffs and their attorneys with smiles & banners. Join the proceedings in the courtroom, and rally throughout the day with the Raging Grannies and other speakers & performers. We’ll remain until the day’s end when our heroes emerge to share the events of the day.

On the following trial days (est. 10 weeks), we’ll continue to arrive at 8:00 am to welcome our stalwart team and gather to conclude each day with a short send off. Our ongoing love and support of the youth plaintiffs in this historic Juliana v. United States court case is vital.

This is big: & Our Children’s Trust (OCT) are collaborating on organized support for the trial across the country, with rallies at federal courthouses planned every state Oct. 28 & 29. In the courts and in the streets… this is an emergency and people all over the world know it!

Sun 10/28 – Mushroom Festival – OCT has the NGO stage with Music by Xiutezcahtl & Aji speakers (11-4 pm)

– Community Art Build at Whirled Pies (3 to 5 pm)

– Emi Sunshine Concert (hosted by GrrrlzRock) at WP (5:30 to 8 pm)

350 Eugene will be organizing folks to help each day with the sound system for the afternoon OCT press conference. Can you help? We will train you on how to set up the equipment. Hey, Kids of All Ages! Time to take CLIMATE ACTION!!!

Support the 21 youth warriors suing the U.S. Government in the climate lawsuit Juliana V. U.S.  Let these brave youth know they are not alone in this crucial fight for a healthy planet.

Send a message of hope and support by writing a post card, a letter or draw a picture.  The Raging Grannies will display your message in front of the Wayne Morse Federal Courthouse in Eugene, Oregon all during the trial.  The trial begins on October 29, 2018, and is expected to last 8 – 10 weeks and will be in session from 9 am – 5 pm week days.  Your presence outside of the court house, as the plaintiffs and their attorneys arrive and depart, would be a wonderful show of support to everyone involved in this “Trial of the Century”.

Our dream is that we have messages of hope and support from every state and from all around the world!  Show the U.S. government that these young climate warriors have “we the people” standing firmly behind them.
