350 Northern Colorado (NoCO) is a small but mighty team of Larimer and Weld county students, retirees, scientists and activists. We are part of a larger coalition of organizations working to stop fracking and promote a just transition to sustainable energy.

We work very closely with the Larimer Alliance, the Sierra Club, and a variety of sustainability and environmental advocacy groups on Colorado State University’s campus.

Stopping the fossil fuel industry, fracking especially, is the main goal of this chapter. We are currently working on halting fracking in Centerra in Loveland, as well as getting air monitoring devices for Bella Romero Academy in Weld County. Other goals include advocating for Colorado State University’s divestment from fossil fuels with a big action push around Earth Day 2022!

This is a group made up of people who stand up and take action against the status quo, who fight for what’s right and advocate for a sustainable future. This movement is what we like to call a “marathon-sprint” and 350 NoCO is a powerful force in fighting for environmental justice.

350 NoCO is currently organizing in Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, Erie and surrounding areas to help solve the global climate crisis and transition from fossil fuels to a sustainable future.

If you are in these areas and would like to join a global grassroots climate justice organization email 350 NoCO Team Coordinator Sarah Burke at sarah@350colorado.org.
