Global Climate Strike: Chicago
“ . . . Always over profit!” a dedicated coalition of environmental groups shouted in the streets of Chicago on September 23rd as part of the Fridays for Future Global Climate Strike. The diverse group of 300-400 activists punched far above its weight class, marching with huge banners, dozens of signs, and shouting slogans almost non-stop as we drew attention in real time and in the press to various climate funding issues at key locations in the Loop.
