350 Montréal is a chapter of 350.org, an international movement of ordinary people working to end the age of fossil fuels and build a world of community-led renewable energy for all. Our chapter seeks to build local public awareness about climate change, to challenge ill-advised government policies, and inspire others to work for a just transition.

350 Montréal became an official 350.org group in November 2021. However, before that date, our members had organized and participated in many local climate change protests and political lobbying actions initiated by 350.org, LeadNow, David Suzuki Foundation, and the TransitionTown movement, to name a few.
