setting the stage for transformation

You are invited to the

 People’s Convention for Human Rights

Labor Day Weekend 2012 – Burlington, Vermont

This Labor Day weekend, the people of Vermont will gather in Burlington to build a strong unified movement.

One Movement for people and the planet

Together, we can create a just world in which our human rights are fulfilled and the right to a healthy livable planet for generations to come is built into the framework of our society.

But we can’t achieve this alone. we must find the root causes that have resulted in the many problems we face today and come together to change the system at its core.

Check out this amazing video to find out more about the People’s Convention and why hundreds of people from all over Vermont will be part of it.

The Vermont People’s Convention – For Human Rights will be a space where hundreds of Vermont-based individuals and organizations will gather to develop a broad grassroots vision for the direction of the state and beyond.

During the worksessions there will be a dedicated group focused on our right to a healthy environment and livable planet.

The People’s Convention will take place August 31 – September 2, in Burlington,Vermont. Join us for two days of workshops, kids’ conference, music, optional camping, and more! For more about the convention, logistical information, and to register, visit vtpeoplesconvention.org.
