The East Lansing Community Solar Park is now leasing panels for customers of the Lansing Board of Water & Light. A 300-watt panel costs $399 for a 25-year lease; it is estimated to credit $20-25 per year to each customer’s electric bill, according to their FAQ. If you are a Board of Water & Light customer, we encourage you to sign up today!

Although it is not located in southeast Michigan, Wolverine Power has established several solar co-ops that are now leasing panels to rural Cadillac residents ($600 per panel for 15 years). If you or someone you know lives in northern Michigan and is interested in investing in solar power, sign up today!

  • Lobbying to prevent Michigan’s lame duck legislature from eviscerating the state’s solar industry.
  • Coordinating participation in a 350-led march in Washington, DC during the first 100 days of the next administration.
  • Fighting for climate justice both in underserved communities and for displaced workers in the fossil fuel industry.
  • And much more!
