Several U of M graduate students are partnering with the Detroit Black Community Food Security Network to conduct a BioBlitz at D-Town Farm on Saturday, May 6, 2017!

A BioBlitz is a rapid biodiversity assessment that combines taxonomic inventory, public outreach and science education. For the past 3 years we have been visiting D-Town farms and engaging with youth on exploring the biodiversity there. This year we expect the participation of 80+ youth and we need your help!

If you are interested in volunteering for the event pleaseĀ click this link to fill out the form by Monday, April 17. Let us know if you have any questions. Also, feel free to share with anyone who might be interested in participating.
