On Monday, February 20th at 6:30 at the Ypsilanti Water Tower, the Michigan Indigenous Action Collective, in collaboration with Idle No More and the EMU Native American Student Organization, will be hosting a rally to shut down the Nexus Pipeline, the Line 5 Pipeline, and of course, DAPL. They will also be collecting donations for the water protectors of Standing Rock, and urging everyone to divest their accounts from banks that fund DAPL, such as Wells Fargo and Chase.

This a good way to continue to support the DAPL water protectors, who will be facing increasingly violent police action in the coming months. It is also a good opportunity to hear and learn from some of the communities that have historically been the most impacted by pipelines, fossil fuels, and more. Please come out and show your support!
