Forward on Climate: Join 350.org in Washington DC on February 17th

At 12 Noon on Sunday, February 17, thousands of Americans will head to Washington, D.C. to make Forward on Climate the largest climate rally in history. Join this historic event to make your voice heard and help the president start his second term with strong climate action.climate_forward

350 Maine encourages all Mainers who want to attend the rally in DC to do so and we’ll post all the best information here regarding buses, event schedules, etc.

Here are the best available details for those hopeful to travel from Maine:

Chartered Buses: Currently, Maine’s chapter of the Sierra Club is organizing two buses from Portland to Washington, DC.  You can see details about the trip and signup to reserve your seat here. We encourage all those planning to attend to sign up ASAP, so that additional buses can be added if the numbers dictate. MegaBus: Is a bus ticketing service if you’d like to make your own plans, click here.
