We have never had a better chance in history to break free from fossil fuels and build a just transition to clean and renewable energy!   Here in the Pacific Northwest, the Shell and Tesoro refineries at March Point near  Anacortes, WA are the largest source of carbon pollution in the Northwest and refine 47% of all the gas and diesel consumed in the region; they are an integral part of the system we must change—within years, not decades.  Join us!!

The plan is to blockade all entrances to March Point by land and water with hundreds of folks doing nonviolent sit-ins, blockades, and kayaktivism, with some willing to risk arrest. We will also incorporate a lot of creative and artful tactics.

There will be many supporting roles and general opportunities for participation for people who do not want to engage in civil disobedience.

 Step 2. Join in our remaining mobilization meetings to learn more and get ready:

Wednesdays,  April 27 and May 4 from 5 to 7pm at the Boreal at 450 W. 3rd St., Eugene, OR

We’ll have updates & info on BFPNW actions. Affiliated groups, tactics, transportation & lodging, art and more will be addressed. We’re building relationships for the inspiring work ahead. Snacks will be provided. Bring your friends!
