The Oregon’s Senate and House Joint Committee on Carbon Reduction will be holding a Public Hearing at the Springfield City Hall next to the Springfield Library. They will be receiving public testimony from Noon to 3 PM. (Sign up to testify at 11:30 am –  2 minute testimony on why we need the strongest possible Carbon Reduction Bill. Either way, Please show up!)

After last week’s successful Lobby Day, big polluters and legislative opponents have pushed to hold Town Hall meetings across the state hoping to create fear and misinformation. They are actively recruiting attendees to oppose HB 2020 (called Clean Energy Jobs bill in 2018) They hope to outnumber those who support the bill. Let’s not let them!

Come and show your support for a strong Carbon Reduction bill to the bipartisan Joint Committee on Carbon Reduction. It is important they hear our voices.
