Background info

We are going to stop the Jordan Cove/Pacific Connector Pipeline before even one inch of ground is broken!

On Dec. 6, the Department of State Lands (DSL) opened a 60-day commenting period for the Jordan Cove removal fill permit. They will hear testimony online and in 5 public hearings. This is one of the most critical moments in this campaign. Rogue Climate, the lead of the statewide No-LNG coalition, is strategically organizing a strong presence at all five DSL public hearings.

350 Eugene will be helping out by filling the hearings on Jan. 9th in Douglas County and on Jan. 15th in Salem. We’ll be renting vans and buses. This is big – all hands on deck!

Please attend the Oregon Fracked Gas Resistance Team (OFGR) meeting on Dec. 18th (6:30 to 8:00 at FUMC) to learn more details and help plan the event.  Comments may also be submitted online, by email, or by postal mail. The commenting period ends on Feb. 3.
