Tue., Jul. 17 – Doctrine of Discovery – Documentary Film – First United Methodist Church – 1376 Olive St., Eugene – 7:00 – 9:00 pm; door open at 6:30 pm

Mark your calendars for this important event featuring “The Doctrine of Discovery: Unmasking the Domination Code”, presented by Community Rights Lane County and 350 Eugene. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers with renowned Indigenous speakers Shawna Bluestar and Steven T. Newcomb following the film screening.

Shawna Bluestar Newcomb (Shawnee, Lenape, Azteca) collaborates with her father, world-renowned speaker, author and filmmaker, Steven T. Newcomb (Lenape, Shawnee) to lead a global campaign.

In this film they present a powerful paradigm shift to help raise consciousness on the planet about the root causes of fear, domination and dehumanization that are negatively impacting our planet, and quality of life. Together they provide a profound alternative by promoting models of reverence & healing for humanity, Mother Earth, and future generations.

This is a sliding scale fundraiser asking for $10-$20 per person. Donations at the door. No one turned away for lack of funds.

Presented by Community Rights Lane County, co-sponsored by CALC and 350 Eugene.
