Acclaimed biologist, author, and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber delivers the keynote address on the opening day of the Permanent Peoples’ Tribunal on Human Rights, Fracking and Climate Change. She is the author of the celebrated book Living Downstream: An Ecologist’s Personal Investigation of Cancer and the Environment, which was the first book to bring together data on toxic releases with data from U.S. cancer registries.
