About this event:
Sat., Jan. 20 – Eugene’s Women’s March for Action – Federal Courthouse, 405 E. 8th Ave., 1:00 to 3:00 pm
This has been an amazing year of organizing! People are waking up! It’s time to take back our democracy and make our country safe for everyone – Native Americans, immigrants, women, muslims, all genders and sexual identities, the poor, the unhoused… There is new energy and we’re taking to the streets this Saturday to shout it out loud and clear!
350 Eugene is showing up with our latest awesome Resist, Build, Rise banners and we need YOU to join in the fun! We’re looking for volunteers to animate our beautiful Pacific Salmon Parachute, inflatable pipeline and serve as Route Guides too! There’s something for everyone, so please come pitch in! Meet at the new courthouse at 12:30 to get set up.
Wear your Pussy Hats (with your 350 Eugene t-shirts & hats, if possible). Let’s fill the streets! Community festivities continue at Whirled Pies on 8th & Charnelton following the march. See you there!
