About this event:
This is a commission appointed by Gov. Brown, which oversees the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to protect our air, fish, water and climate. (The DEQ will consider key water quality permits in the Pacific Connector Pipeline and Jordan Cove LNG terminal projects.)
It’s vital we pack the hearing room with concerned citizens who will urge commissioners to carefully assess the hazards this project poses to our wildlife, rivers and estuaries and to take its time to carefully assess the risks and impacts.
Rally outside 10 am, public comments at 11 am.
We don’t all need to speak, but it is vital to fill the room with our presence to stand against this fracked gas export project. Please wear RED! Just show up!
You can even call in to listen and provide your testimony via phone, if you can’t make it. Call the conference line at 800-700-7784 and enter the participant code: 432786 #.
