About this event:

Created by laurie

Capitol Bldg, Salem, OR
Oregonians from around the state meet in Salem with a united voice to say we demand stronger state environmental leadership!

We’ll be joining the organizers from Oregon Wild, Beyond Toxics, and Oregon Chapter Sierra Club who are planning a HUGE rally on the capitol steps from 11 to 1:00 p.m. followed by a beautiful march symbolizing a healthy Oregon river filled and surrounded by abundant regional wildlife.

Protect and preserve what we love! We must show our elected officials and appointees there is no time to lose. The time to act is NOW!
Let our state leaders know loud & clear that we demand:

1) Comprehensive science-based logging policy reform that protects forests, streams and biodiversity
2) Science-based regulations to protect people & wildlife from applications of toxics
3) Protections for Water and Wildlife on State owned public lands!

Car pool meeting & parking for Rally for Water and Wildlife at First United Methodist Church, get to church at 9:00. Back from Salem by 3:00 pm.
