On January 25, 2017, in a 6-2 vote, the Eugene City Council approved the  No Crude by Rail oil resolution. This recently produced video from the 350 Eugene No Crude by Rail team provides an excellent overview of this critical environmental and safety issue, excerpts from a Eugene City Council work session preceding the Council’s vote and recommendations for other communities seeking to enact a No Crude by Rail resolution of their own.
