DC 10/10/10 Volunteers Needed!
The DC 10/10 Coalition needs your help to make sure the day is big and impactful and goes off with out a hitch. There are plenty of easy ways to get involved and be a part of this historic action.
1) Promote – Distribute fliers and posters in your community. Click here to download and email us (volunteer1010dc@gmail.com) to let us know where you’re going to distribute the materials. You can also pick some up between 10AM and 6PM Monday through Friday, at Live Green in Adams Morgan (2452 18th Street NW Adams Morgan – gray door, next door to Julias Empanadas)
2) Recruit – Help us turnout local climate action supporters to the various DC 10/10/10 events. Come to the following phonebank parties:
9/30, 6:30PM – Takoma Park
10/5, 6:30PM – Downtown DC
10/7, 6:30PM – Downtown DC

3) Petition – Help get people to sign our 10/10 “Obama: Put solar on it” petition at events including the One Nation march on the National Mall on 10/2. To sign up and for more details: volunteer1010dc@gmail.com
4) Create – Help design and make the beautiful visuals for our White House action. We need creative people to make banners and help put together materials for our “Solar 350″ aerial photograph. We’ll have a materials making party on Friday October 8th. Be there or help gather supplies. Contact Ted Glick: indpol@igc.org
