Who We Are
The DC 10/10 coalition is a diverse partnership of local and regional organizations, and individual activists all working in their own unique ways to promote solutions to the climate crisis. Recognizing the significance of their city in the fight for climate solutions, the coalition members united under the DC 10/10 banner to organize a city-wide series of work projects that would exemplify the range of ways that the DC community is getting to work on climate solutions.
Working Committees
The coalition comprises three main working committees each focusing on organizing projects in one of the following areas: Clean Energy/Efficiency, Urban Ag/Local Food, Transportation. A fourth committee is focused on organizing the solar press event at the White House, and a community potluck celebration. The bigger our coalition the bigger our impact on 10/10. If you or your group are working on a DC Work Party event and want to make it an official DC 10/10 Coalition project, or if you’d like to simply get involved with the work of one of our committees, please contact us to get involved. We’ll list you as a coalition member below, list your project on the Project page, and get you connected with our planning committees, and event support team.
