Why 350?

There’s already too much CO2 in the atmosphere — over 400 parts per million — but the safe level is 350.

Our job is to shift from fossil fuels to clean renewable energy.

Your voice will make a difference.

Thousands March in all 50 states to say #NoDAPL

On November 15, 2016, tens of thousands joined over 300 rallies across all 50 states, Washington, D.C., and internationally to defend the rights of Indigenous peoples and to urge President Obama to permanently reject the Dakota Access Pipeline while he still can.

Our chapter joined allied groups in a crowd of at least 1,500 people who rallied at the Army Corps of Engineers office in Los Angeles.

Keystone XL pipeline rejected!

“This isn’t just a victory for the climate movement — it’s a victory for everyone who believes in the power of organized people, from the streets of Missouri, to the border crossings of Arizona, to the hills of South Dakota and Nebraska.” – Bill McKibben 6 Nov 2015

EXXON should be investigated

Just last month, reports revealed that Exxon has known about [but lied about] the threat of climate change since the 1970s and 80s. Members of Congress are stepping up to call for the Justice Department to investigate ExxonMobil under the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations [RICO] Act.

Our 350.org founder, Bill McKibben, is asking us to raise our voices together by signing this petition to the Department of Justice:  http://act.350.org/sign/exxon_DOJ
