The Climate Caravan through Latin America, an Action-Tour to the COP20 UN summit on climate change. The Caravan is traveling from Mexico over land to the southern cone of South America, passing through 17 countries, with the objective of reaching the COP20 in December, in Lima, Peru. Throughout this action-tour project, participating groups and communities will carry out creative medium-to-large public events, or Climate Gatherings, that will include workshops, presentations, acclaimed political art exhibitions, music and film showings, and non-violent direct action trainings particularly shared with front-line groups and communities resisting the climate crisis in their locale and region.
